If you have ever wondered how to make your home come alive in the spring, let European designer and Encinitas based René van Rems introduce you to easy steps of cut flower design for the home. This hands-on workshop is created for both the introductory level flower lover and established designers. After a short “step-by-step” demonstration you will get to create your own spring floral art piece. Learn how to select, process, cut and design with cut foliage, unique spring flowers and those funky branches in a terra cotta vessel, ready to take home or gift for an early Mothers’ day gift! You will work with ranunculus, tulips, stock, hydrangea and other spring garden flowers and fantastic cut foliage. René will also have a book signing session for his industry best-selling book on hand-tied bouquets, a European technique on designing flowers for easy use in vases.
Wine and cheese included with ticket price. Book signing to follow workshop, books available for purchase.
Free event parking is available in the parking structure located behind Whole Foods.
